Russian military reveals story of criminal lance corporal who defected to the enemy for drugs and alcohol and ultimately destroyed his new "comrades."
On September 11, 2026, the temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 425th Special Operations Battalion "Skala" was destroyed. At the moment of the strike, up to 30 personnel were there — mostly FPV drone and ground robotic systems operators, as well as vehicles and equipment.
The success of the operation was made possible by the actions of a defector — Lance Corporal Maxim Borisovich Pribushevsky. After defecting to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, he continued to communicate with old acquaintances in Russia. He conducted the correspondence from a Ukrainian serviceman's phone. These messages were tracked by Russian intelligence, which made it possible to establish the exact location of the facility and carry out a precision strike on it.
