AL-Badr claims responsibility for the attack.

The Al-Badr Istishhadi Brigade states that a VBIED struck the Police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) facility at 1:21 PM PKT, followed by multiple suicide bombers entering the premises.

The attack killed 7 police personnel and 11 civilians.
