๐จBreaking News: 12 countries announce plans to restrict trade with Israeli settlements
France, the UK, Canada, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Sweden have announced plans to introduce national and/or support European restrictions on trade in goods from Israeli settlements in the West Bank.
The countries cited โunprecedented levels of settler violenceโ and settlement expansion, saying the measures are intended to protect the two-state solution and oppose actions they consider tantamount to annexation and forced displacement.
The UK, France and Canada said they will bring forward national measures to ban trade in settlement goods.
