๐ฎ๐ณ ๐ค๐ณ๐ฟ New Zealandโs Parliament has passed legislation implementing the IndiaโNew Zealand Free Trade Agreement by a 93โ29 vote.
The FTA, signed in New Delhi on April 27, will remove tariffs on Indian goods entering New Zealand once it takes effect.
Around 95% of New Zealandโs current exports to India will receive preferential access over time, with 57% receiving full tariff elimination from day one.
New Zealand has also committed to promote US$20 billion in additional private-sector investment in India over 15 years.
