Maryam Nawaz Serves Rs 5 Billion Defamation Notice on Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has issued a Rs 5 billion defamation notice to PML-Q leader and Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain over his remarks alleging widespread corruption in Punjab.

The notice gives Salik seven days to retract his statements, issue an unconditional public apology and pay the demanded damages, warning of legal action if he fails to comply.
