The Eiffel Tower was temporarily closed after staff protested over female employees allegedly being asked to leave their workstations during a private visit by around 100 people linked to the BAPS Hindu group.
The towerβs operator said the delegation had requested limited interaction with women and admitted such conditions should not have been accepted. BAPS apologised for any distress caused.
