๐Ÿšจ Gujarat Official Suspended for 6 Days After 12 Streetlights Fail on PM Modiโ€™s Route

A Dabhoi Municipality official, Mahesh Vasava, has been suspended for six days after 12 streetlights were found non-functional and several others flickering along a road travelled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Vadodara district on October 31.

The official, who was in charge of the municipalityโ€™s lighting department, has been asked to explain the alleged negligence. The incident has raised questions over whether basic civic facilities receive attention only during VIP visits.
