India's Foreign Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar, embarked on a five-day official visit to Ghana, CΓ΄te d’Ivoire, and Ethiopia on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

Scheduled from 6 to 10 October 2026, the three-nation diplomatic tour aims to shore up bilateral partnerships across trade, investment, infrastructure development, and capacity building.

According to MEA, the visit reflects India’s ongoing commitment to deepening ties with Africa and strengthening its solidarity with the Global South.
