India summoned the Pakistani Chargรฉ d'Affaires in New Delhi to protest a naval collision in international waters that violated the 1991 agreement on military exercises.

The incident caused no major damage but was deemed unacceptable conduct by India.

India has also instructed its Chargรฉ d'Affaires in Islamabad to lodge a parallel protest with Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
