🚨The Trump administration has imposed fresh sanctions on three senior officials of Cuba’s Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and nine Cuban state-owned entities in the mining, metals, trade and construction sectors.

🇺🇸 Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused ICAP of operating a network aimed at promoting anti-American influence in the United States and said the measures are intended to pressure the Cuban government.

🇨🇺 Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez condemned the sanctions, saying they would further damage Cuba's economy and interfere with access to essential goods, including food and medical supplies.
