U.S. Central Command said it struck three Iranian oil tankers after the IRGC launched ballistic missiles at two U.S. Navy warships.
CENTCOM said the American vessels avoided the attacks and no U.S. personnel were injured.
In response, U.S. forces disabled the M/T Downy and M/T Stark 1 and destroyed the M/T Kylo, also known as Noxen, after its crew abandoned ship.
