๐Ÿ’ข Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stรธre emphasized the importance of maintaining good neighborly relations with Russia, citing their shared maritime interests, fisheries management and Norway's national security.

"We have not claimed to speak on behalf of anyone but ourselves. Again, Norway is a neighbor of Russia. We have a large maritime area. We have to manage fisheries and good neighborly relations in a way that keeps us safe."

His remarks followed direct talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin alongside Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
