💢 🇮🇳 Test voyage from India to Russia's Murmansk along Northern Sea Route planned for 2027
"In 2027, we plan to carry out a test voyage to the port of Murmansk from the port of Chennai. This is currently being discussed within the Russian-Indian Commission chaired by the state corporation Rosatom", Artyom Kuksa, First Deputy Minister of Arctic Development and Economy of the Murmansk Region said.
The Northern Sea Route is free from piracy, and this fact favorably distinguishes it from other cargo shipping corridors, Russian diplomat Vladislav Maslennikov previously said.
