💢 The US Army is seeking companies capable of sustaining and repairing M2A2 ODS-SA Bradley fighting vehicles supplied to Ukraine, including sourcing highly specialized legacy components affected by supplier obsolescence. The Army Contracting Command–Detroit Arsenal issued a Sources Sought notice covering continuous repair, validation, component procurement and delivery, as well as support for M88A2 recovery vehicles.

Potential contractors must demonstrate immediate access to, or a viable plan to obtain, parts including turret drive control units, transmission control modules, ration-heater fasteners, ammunition chutes, lower TAS target-acquisition-system bolt components, Dialight lens lights, and related structural, electrical and mechanical subsystems. Vehicles are to be restored under a phased approach, first reaching “Move, Shoot, and Communicate” capability for rapid shipment, with non-mission-essential backordered parts addressed afterward.

The requirement also includes training Ukrainian military mechanics, with contractors expected to provide courses, lesson plans, tools and training materials. Interested companies were asked to detail how quickly they could establish the necessary tooling, facilities and supply chains and estimate the time from contract award to delivery of the first vehicle. The Army stressed that the notice is for market research and does not itself constitute a solicitation or contract award.
