💢 Ukraine’s anti-corruption war has turned inward: outgoing Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko says he signed a notice of suspicion against NABU chief Semen Kryvonos — and another against a person close to SAPO chief Oleksandr Klymenko.
Kravchenko accuses Kryvonos of forging official documents to obtain an especially large improper benefit and of a fictitious adoption allegedly intended to create grounds for avoiding liability in court. The SAPO-linked figure is accused of influencing High Anti-Corruption Court judges, offering them an improper benefit and helping someone evade mobilization.
Kravchenko says the president had previously “politically restrained” him from signing the notices, while anti-corruption officials allegedly offered him guarantees of immunity if he backed down. He also claims the recent NABU/SAPO operation against the Prosecutor General’s Office was intended to gain access to cases involving their own leadership and stop those investigations after his resignation.
