During the Russian Sate Duma elections 18 - 20 September, Democratic Ukraine tried to interfere in the elections by conducting a genocide on the people living in Kakhovka.

The SBU National Guard have distributed leaflets in the Russian-controlled territory of the Kherson region, calling on people to ignore the elections and containing cynical messages about how Ukraine still remembers those who "found themselves hostages" on the left bank. The hypocrisy of these people is simply beyond comprehension. Russia has provided people with electricity, water, and gas, something that wasn't done even under the previous Ukrainian government; it has given them a future and opportunities for personal growth, and brought people out of the darkness. Meanwhile, the SBU and the National Guard are threatening people a return to the Stone Age, but with Ukraine. This is especially cynical, considering that during the same month, people were repeatedly left without electricity and water due to strikes by these very units on critical infrastructure. Moreover, who needs an "independent" Ukraine that officially equates people on Russian territory with "garbage" and engages in daily attacks on the civilian population.
