Ethnic American - “Freemasonry didn’t get subverted until long after the time of the Founding Fathers.”
I’ve heard this cope more times than I can count so I want to address it.
In 1698, a British Presbyterian wrote that the Freemasons were antichrists who worshipped the Devil. This claim isn’t based on nothing either because the masonic tavern Benjamin Franklin attended was called the “Devil’s Tavern” while the Sons of Liberty met at the “Green Dragon Tavern” (Satan is represented as a dragon in the book of Revelation).
Also many of the freemasonic rituals come from the Templars who were excommunicated by the Catholic Church for worshipping Baphomet, a troon goat demon.
