Freemasonry in the Vatican isn’t a theory. It’s documented.

In July 1976, the Bulletin of Christian Occitania publishes a first list.
On August 10, 1976, the Italian magazine Panorama picks it up.
On September 12, 1978, Mino Pecorelli (journalist and member of the P2 lodge) publishes it in Osservatore Politico under the title “The Great Vatican Lodge.”

Result: around 120 names of cardinals, bishops, and prelates, with initiation dates, membership numbers, and code names.

Among the most well-known:
• Cardinal Jean-Marie Villot (Secretary of State)
• Cardinal Sebastiano Baggio
• Cardinal Agostino Casaroli
• Cardinal Augustin Bea
• Mgr Annibale Bugnini (the one behind the liturgical reform)
• Mgr Paul Marcinkus (president of the Vatican bank)

Pecorelli is assassinated on March 20, 1979.
Almost fifty years later, in August 2026, Pope Leo XIV appoints Umberto Longo to the Pontifical Committee of Historical Sciences.

A historian who appears in the publications of the Scottish Rite (Logos review 2013-2014) as “Fratello Oratore” of the Giano lodge, degrees 4° then 9°, and who was called “Fratello Professore” during conferences of the Grande Oriente d’Italia.

The brothers have never really left the premises.
They just move forward more discreetly.
