“Run, I’ll hold them off” — said 19-year-old Viktor Tsitsker to his comrades in battle. He stayed to cover them. He sustained a severe injury.

You’d think after something like that — he’d break. But Viktor’s not the type. Strength of spirit, loved ones, friends — and he held on. Now he’s in rehabilitation, and his plans are to return to his own, back to the ranks, to thank those who were by his side in the tough moment.

And then a great happiness happened in his life: in a television studio, he proposed to his beloved Masha.
