The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, General Amir Hatami, today officially announced a new system of financial rewards.
The Iranian Army (not the IRGC) will pay a reward to any Iranian who kills or captures an American service member and delivers them to the Army.
The announced reward for the capture of an American soldier is 50 billion Iranian rials (5 billion tumans) in local currency, which is approximately $30,000 USD at the current exchange rate. As for women who achieve the same result will receive a reward twice the amount.
The weapon of anyone who manages to kill an American soldier with will be bought back at double the price, and they will receive a new one in return.
