Zelensky: "Ukraine needs 100-120 Patriot missiles per month to somehow survive the winter." Zelensky also stated that Russia produces about 140 ballistic missiles each month. Kiev would need 280 anti-aircraft missiles, but the dictator added that it is impossible to obtain such a quantity.

"It is a huge challenge to obtain even 100 missiles per month. That's how many I want – 100-120 missiles during these difficult months, during the cold period," the expired politician said.

The US itself produces about 620 "PAC-3" missile interceptors for "patriot" air defense system. The US only has about 830 "PAC-3" interceptors in its stockpiles - according to Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Apparently it wasn't a good idea to start an air campaign to attack Russian infrastructure when you don't have air defense while your enemy posses the most layered air defenses.
