Bakr Awawda, number four on the Joint List, told a Jordanian television channel: “If Eisenkot wants to form a government, he must back down from the four principles he presented during his election campaign.”
These principles are reportedly:
1. Recognition of Israel as a Jewish state.
2. Commitment to Israel’s Declaration of Independence.
3. Mandatory national service for everyone.
4. Recognition of Hamas as a terrorist organization.
