Breaking:
Agreements have been reached between Justice Minister Yariv Levin, the Judicial Selection Committee, and the Court Administration regarding appointments to the District Court.
The names of the candidates expected to be appointed have just been published in the official gazette.
It should be noted that the names released are those that Levin had originally agreed to appoint, regardless of the court order requiring him to publish the names in the gazette.
The scenario of noncompliance with the court ruling is now off the table.
The announcement in the gazette is signed by the Director of the Courts, rather than by the minister as is customary, to clarify that the names are agreed upon not only by the minister but also by the Court Administration.
