Dear people of Israel, Rosh Hashanah is approaching 🙏 and I want to share a personal request with you, straight from a mother’s heart.
More than a year has passed since my only son, Staff Sergeant Lior Steinberg, of blessed memory, was killed in action. He was only 20 years old 💔. From the depths of this loss, I am trying to carry on the light and goodness he left behind.
Lior was full of joy, with a huge heart and a constant desire to help others. In the army, he trained as a combat medic so he could save lives. Shortly after returning to combat, he was killed in Gaza.
I never had the privilege of having my Lior sit with me around the holiday table. So this Rosh Hashanah, I have chosen to carry on his generous spirit by providing food vouchers to families in need in his memory. Thanks to you, families will be able to sit with their children around a dignified holiday table ❤️
