Hello everyone, my name is Anat Waldman.
I am the sister of the late Colonel Yitzhak Ben Basat (Benba), who fell in battle in Shuja'iyya.
Even before bereavement knocked on my door, on October 10, my partner Natalie Farkash and I opened a small therapeutic space in Pardes Hanna. What began as an emergency response for women on the home front quickly became a lifeline called “Kedem – Healing Home.”
Since then, more than 6,500 combat soldiers, people wounded physically and emotionally, widows, survivors of captivity, and their families have come through our doors. We provide them with a unique integrative treatment program that helps them breathe again, function, and return to life. All of our programs are fully booked—because it simply works!
Today, we have reached a critical point: Kedem has run out of funding. If we cannot raise the amount needed to continue operating, we will be forced to close. >
