Hi Amit, my name is Avigail, Matan’s wife. Matan is a combat soldier who was wounded in the war.

I’m worried—not only about his injury, but about everything that comes with it. My Matan who returned from the war is not the same Matan who left for it. Terrible anxiety attacks, nightmares at night, horrific flashbacks from the battlefield, and the screams of friends he watched die before his eyes. It is with him every day, all day. It is an incredibly difficult reality.

The “Oz LaGibor Center” is helping Matan become the Matan I knew before the war again. It is a place that helps us cope and restores Matan’s sense of belonging in life and his masculine strength. We have launched a fundraising campaign to help hundreds of couples who are waiting to receive this critical support and hoping to return to their lives.

Please consider making a monthly donation to help sustain the center so that we can support hundreds more people from the area suffering from psychological trauma who are waiting for help. For you, it’s a donation of ₪55, ₪100, or ₪18 per month; for us, it truly changes lives. 🙏

Donate now through the link—it’s important:

Thank you very much.
