Netanyahu is in talks with Moti Leitner, chairman of the New Haredim Party, about withdrawing from the race.
For now, Netanyahu is refusing to commit to offering him a ministerial position in the next government or a guaranteed spot on the electoral list in the next elections.
Nevertheless, progress has been made in the negotiations.
The party stated: “We’re staying in the race until the very end.”
