Out of the Ashes – We Rise and Rebuild!
Hello everyone,
We are the Mann family from Havat Gilad — Shalom David, Hodia, and our children: Noam, Pe’er Yisrael, Shaked, Afik, and Eden.
Thirteen years ago, we came to Havat Gilad out of our love for the Land of Israel. Here, we planted a vineyard and built our home.
About six years ago, we experienced a devastating tragedy when our home was completely destroyed by a fire caused by an electrical short circuit. Thanks to the incredible support of the people of Israel and our wonderful community, we got back on our feet and rebuilt a home that became a place of stability, kindness, and giving.
About a month ago, tragedy struck again. Terrorists set a fire that destroyed around 30 buildings in our community. Sadly, our home was among them, and the house we had rebuilt burned down once again.
We found ourselves back in the same painful place: without a roof over our heads, without our belongings and cherished memories. >
