The Bank of Israel pushes back against Netanyahu, who called for preparations to accumulate cryptocurrency ahead of potential sanctions:
“Cryptocurrencies cannot serve as a means of circumventing sanctions.
The right course of action for Israel’s economy is to preserve its economic relationships with our major trading partners and focus on preventing sanctions and their negative impact on the economy.
This matter falls within the responsibility of the political leadership, and appropriate action should be taken to advance this goal.”
