UTJ Chairman, MK Yaakov Asher, responding to police conduct during the protests:
“Although we oppose road blockades, we cannot remain silent in the face of the disturbing footage showing protesters, including a young man with special needs, lying on the ground, injured and bleeding.
Such conduct crosses a red line and cannot be ignored. I call on the Police Commissioner to take immediate action and summon the officers who acted unlawfully and used severe violence to disciplinary hearings.”
