We have chosen to honor his memory by establishing “Mishkan Amichai” — the new Beit Midrash (house of study) of the Avner Mechina in Akko.
In the place where Amichai grew up and was educated, generations of young people will, with God’s help, study Torah inspired by his light, build their character, and go on to lives of mission and contribution to the people of Israel.
For us, this memorial is a continuation of a life that will keep spreading goodness and light for many years to come.
