A senior U.S. official told the Reuters news agency that nearly all the missiles and drones launched by Iran at American targets in the Gulf states and Jordan were intercepted. The official said he was not aware of any reports of damage or casualties resulting from the attacks.
At the same time, the official added that the United States struck nearly 20 targets inside Iran overnight.
