The Omani pilot, during his interrogation, revealed that he had planned to crash the plane into Ben Gurion Airport.
Therefore, he attacked the pilot above Jordan near the border with Israel.
He had planned to approach for landing as usual and, in the final seconds, when it would be impossible to intercept him, to crash the plane into the terminal.
Only thanks to the fateful decision of the injured Indian pilot to open the door at all costs was the plot averted.
