Iran's Navy says it fired warning shots — Qadir missiles and Shahid Danaye drones — at two US destroyers (DDG-103 and DDG-87) in the Sea of Oman.
Both warships withdrew toward the Indian Ocean.
Iran also claims the USS Tripoli amphibious assault ship was forced to leave the area.
