It seems that Trump got confused. It turns out that the senior Shiite representative, Nabih Berri, the Speaker of Lebanon’s Parliament, pledged on Hezbollah’s behalf to a ceasefire - provided it would be a comprehensive one, including an Israeli withdrawal. However, Trump understood this as agreement to a partial ceasefire.
