The United States has fully embraced Israel’s equation. Even the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, said this morning in Beirut:
“If Hezbollah stops its attacks on Israel, Israel will not target the Dahieh district of Beirut.”
The implication is clear: if Hezbollah does not stop - and so far it has not - the strikes will continue.
