๐ The International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) ends today.
๐ท๐บStudents from Moscow and St. Petersburg won 2๐ฅgold and 2๐ฅsilver medals โ well done, Vladislav Zhiganov (#2 overall!), Maksim Kravchenko, Sergei Mukhanov and Vladimir Zvezdin!
๐บ๐ฆUkraine won 3 medals: ๐ฅ gold for Vladyslav Khalin, and 2๐ฅ silver for Illia Shevchenko and Daria Perekopska ๐ช
๐ง๐พ Belarus took 1๐ฅgold and 1๐ฅsilver, won by Kiryl Kardash and Fiodar Sashko, plus two bronze medals from their teammates.
๐ฐ๐ฟKazakhstan did well too, winning 1๐ฅgold and 3๐ฅsilver medals to finish in the top five as a team, while Maksim Tsoy came #5 overall.
๐ฐ๐ฌKyrgyzstan picked up 2๐ฅ silver and 2๐ฅ bronze medals! ๐ค
๐บ๐ฟUzbekistan, the host country, put on a great showing: 1๐ฅ silver for Jakhonali Khaydaraliyev and 3๐ฅbronze medals.
๐จ๐ณThe strongest results of all, though, came from China ๐
At today's award ceremony, the IOI organizers are giving the 188 Algorithm Cups ๐๐๐ to the winners. The organizers of the sister olympiad, IOAI, are sending the 220 Intelligence Cups ๐๐๐ to their winners remotely.
