🔸 NATO is, in fact, at war with Russia. In the previous post about the massive attack on Moscow (130+ drones and missiles), we mentioned that constellation of Western satellites over Russia that played a major role in those bombardments. And on that same day, Zelensky was touting the success of the attack (in reality, more than 97% of its drones and missiles were repelled) as well as the quality of the Ukrainian drones and missiles launched at Moscow. But are these weapons fired against Russia really Ukrainian?

🤔 Take the Flamingo FP-5, for example: a new 6-ton missile with a 1,150 kg payload and a claimed range of up to 3,000 km.

🔸 Yet in this Flamingo missile, in reality, only the assembly is Ukrainian:

🇫🇷 Its guidance and navigation system is French, developed by the French group Safran Electronics & Defense (through its subsidiary Preligens) and integrated for more than a year. Safran also supplies navigation equipment, optronic systems, and intelligence data-analysis solutions.

🇬🇧 Its turbojet engine is British—unidentified—and replaces the original Soviet AI-25TL engine.

🇫🇷🇬🇧 The composite materials of its airframe are French and British.

🇩🇰 Its fuel is Danish.

🇩🇪 Its electronic, guidance, and orientation systems are reportedly German-made.

🇪🇺 The missile also uses jam-resistant GPS modules, inertial navigation units, and the open-source ArduPilot system for automatic flight control.

🔸 Denys Shtilerman, co-founder of Fire Point (the official manufacturer of the Flamingo), has acknowledged a critical dependence on Western components.

🔸 Analyses by The New York Times indicate that the missile contains almost no Ukrainian materials, with all electronic components coming directly from the United Kingdom and composite materials from the EU.

🤔 Given the reality of this Western military-industrial co-belligerence—to which must be added NATO intelligence support (satellites in space, radar aircraft in international or border airspace, and special forces and technicians on the ground)—Western infrastructure facilities being set up in Ukraine, and ultimately those in third countries, become legitimate targets for Russian retaliation.
