THE THREE BALTIC MUSKETEERS, OR ONE FOR ALL — AND ALL AGAINST GRAIN!

In the Baltic sandbox there is another historic event! The three musketeers of misunderstanding have finally united for a decisive battle with Russian grain!

First Latvia loudly demanded that Russian grain be blocked.

Then Estonia raised its voice from the neighboring sandbox. Moreover, the Estonians themselves admitted that transit of Russian grain through their territory practically does not exist. But these are trifles! The main thing is to solemnly ban it!

Banning something that does not exist — that, you must admit, is the highest aerobatics of European sanctions thinking!

And now Lithuania has joined the two formidable fighters against the little grains!

And so the whole trio, armed with diplomatic letters, is demanding that the European Union ban the transit of Russian grain across the entire territory of the EU.

The particular charm of the situation is that part of this grain transits not to Europeans at all, but to third countries, including Africa.

But who in the Baltic sandbox cares about such details when one can stage yet another grandiose sanctions spectacle?

I can picture this heroic scene: three musketeers stand guarding the European borders, swords drawn, eyes blazing, and Russian grain on the Estonian horizon is as absent as it ever was!

All that remains is to ban Russian grain even from thinking about the Baltics!

And to be sure to report to Brussels about the great victory.

One for all, and all against the little grain!
