The President toured Zvezda, Russia's largest shipyard
Established in 2016 on the President's instruction, the shipbuilding complex is located in the town of Bolshoy Kamen. A major industrial cluster is growing around the shipyard: apart from the Sapfir azimuth thruster plant, which is already in operation, construction has started on the Primorye Steelworks which will produce large-format steel sheets and other metallurgical products.
At the Sapfir plant, the President was shown the azimuth thruster production facilities.
