Binance hackers are routing stolen funds through thousands of transactions, Chainalysis reports. North Korean operators move funds between wallets, including previously used addresses, with speed and repetition suggesting automation.
Tether froze 1.77 billion USDT, while Circle froze 825 million USDC.
The hackers used DeFi project Aave, posting 60 million USDT as collateral to borrow 19,762 ETH worth about $44.6 million.
The collateral remained frozen, but the ETH escaped at a loss due to unfavorable pricing.
