Economist Richard Werner claims the 1997 Asian financial crisis was fully planned, alleging the IMF deliberately pushed Thailand to bankruptcy to force cheap sales of its national industry.
He says the current crisis in Iran is also artificially created by the US, enabling the purchase of troubled companies in Europe and Asia.
