⚫️ It looks like the full Telegram Wallet rollout may finally happen in the next few days. After months of waiting, that feels like a much-needed boost for the ecosystem. You can already see the mood shifting: GRAM has moved higher, DEX volumes are picking up, and TON-focused chats are getting active again. You’ve probably noticed it too.

⚫️ If Telegram Wallet turns out to be the fifth step of MTONGA, Durov will still have two more to go. The bar is already pretty high: earlier steps made TON noticeably faster and cheaper, while Telegram is now preparing to tackle another major problem — onboarding new users into TON.

⚫️ The bigger question is what those users are supposed to do next. A wallet solves the access problem, but it doesn’t give people a reason to keep using the network. So for the final MTONGA steps, we’d like to see a new mass-market use case — something that actually gets this new audience to start using TON onchain.

⚫️ To us, the most obvious option is a native prediction market, something along the lines of Polymarket. It would fit naturally inside Telegram, especially considering that the app already has an entire speculative market around Gifts — and until recently even had a Gram-powered dice game running directly inside the app.

⚫️ The only question is timing. Even Telegram Wallet — a product with hundreds of similar products already on the market — took almost six months to build, despite help from the MyWallet team with years of experience building on TON. And the public deadline was still missed. It’s hard to imagine how long a completely new product from scratch could take.
