🇺🇸 In the US, a concept for a new generation of air defense systems against drones has been presented.

Lockheed Martin has demonstrated a multi-layered drone defense architecture capable of automatically detecting, classifying targets, and prioritizing their neutralization from land, air, or sea.

The system consists of the following elements:

1. Target Detection. It uses radar, electro-optical/infrared cameras, and radio frequency sensors. Data from various sensors is collected in real-time. The system compares this data and filters out false targets, interference, and decoys so that the operator is not overwhelmed with "noise" on the screen.

2. Target Analysis and Detection. It utilizes a special Sanctum™ AI model (which recognizes threats, prioritizes targets for engagement, and coordinates the actions of various weapons systems) and the SkyKeeper air situational awareness system.

3. Engagement:
* Kinetic. It uses the serial-produced JAGM missile with a dual-mode guidance system, operating on a "fire-and-forget" principle.
* Non-kinetic. It uses the MORFIUS™ X-Rotor drone.

The engagement assets will be deployed on the GRIZZLY (container launch system) and the unmanned surface vessel Saildrone Surveyor.

The operator will only need to make the final decision.

✨🇺🇸The United States, like 🇨🇳China, is racing towards the "seventh technological paradigm" of warfare (characterized by a high degree of automation of weapons), understanding that chasing swarms of drones across fields and forests with machine guns, with all due respect to mobile operational groups (MOGs), is like fighting airplanes from World War I with cavalry armed with three-line rifles.

✨⭐️It only took the Americans a few months after being "shocked by Iran" to develop comprehensive solutions to counter the threat of drones that meet modern challenges.

In our case, there is a feeling of a continued underestimation of the threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles, which is often attempted to be solved by the mass creation of MOGs, which also need to be trained for a very long time and well-equipped (rather than simply announcing the existence of MOGs in reports to higher headquarters) in order to produce results.

The effectiveness of these MOGs against jet-powered drones, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in the enemy's arsenal, is already becoming a critical issue. So, the future lies in technology and its implementation.
