Meeting between Melania Trump and representatives of Ukraine and Russia begins at the White House.
The Russian delegation is represented by Ombudsman Yana Lantratova and Presidential Special Representative Kirill Dmitriev.
Ukraine is represented by David Arakhamia, head of the "Servant of the People" faction, and Dmytro Lubinets, the Verkhovna Rada's Commissioner for Human Rights.
The meeting focuses on humanitarian issues and the recent ceasefire in the Aleskhi district of the Kherson region.
Melania proposed that after the ceasefire in Aleskhi, a general ceasefire should be established in the conflict, followed by a lasting peace.
✨ "Lasting peace". We, of course, know what that means.
