Russia to respond to Germany's closure of the consulate and the Russian Center
Dmitry Medvedev stated that after accusations of Russia's involvement in the incident with a drone in Leipzig, the German authorities deserve a "direct response."
Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced that Moscow is preparing a response to Berlin's decision to close the last Russian consulate and cease operations of the Russian Center. According to her, the response will be "more severe."
Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned of the possibility of further downgrading of diplomatic relations.
