The Polish Foreign Minister, Radosław Sikorski, has called on European countries to close Russian consulates, reduce the number of Russian diplomats, and restrict their movement within the European Union, according to the Financial Times.
The official, known for his anti-Russian stance, also advocated for reducing the issuance of tourist visas to Russians and proposed requiring Russian tourists to use biometric passports for entry into the EU.
Furthermore, Sikorski stated that NATO should prepare for a possible Russian "hybrid attack" that could result in casualties. According to his account, alleged acts of sabotage organized by Moscow in Europe could lead to loss of life, requiring a more forceful response from the alliance.
At the same time, the Polish Foreign Minister acknowledged that NATO currently lacks agreed-upon criteria for what specific actions would warrant such a response.
