๐บ๐ธ๐ท๐บTrump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, has arrived in St. Petersburg for talks with the highest authorities.
He will present an updated American plan for resolving the conflict, prepared after negotiations with Zelensky and European representatives in Oslo.
The proposals include security guarantees for Ukraine, post-war reconstruction, and a new European security architecture. Washington hopes to lay the groundwork for direct three-way negotiations.
A separate issue concerns Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Russian oil refineries. Kushner again demanded an end to these strikes, but Zelensky only agreed to a mutual cessation of strikes on energy infrastructure.
The day before, Trump again demanded that Zelensky make a deal.
