In my opinion, this is an absurd argument, because they could always sell their diesel fuel. They were simply selling it to China at a huge discount.
Meanwhile, our farmers and consumers were suffering. The President looked at this and asked, "Why are we subsidizing other countries?" We need to create conditions where our farmers can easily provide themselves with a decent life. And that is exactly what we are doing."
