✨Where is everything heading after the negotiations?
The negotiation track is moving forward, and even during meetings with Americans, the parties have not hesitated to target various objectives. Nevertheless, some signs of a shift in strategy are emerging.
Based on official reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it can be concluded that, at least during that night, the enemy launched fewer drones towards Russia than it could have, and even fewer than the previous night:
During the past night, air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 443 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type over the territories of Smolensk, Nizhny Novgorod, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tambov, Voronezh, Ryazan, Vladimir, Rostov, Volgograd regions, Perm and Krasnodar regions, the Moscow region, the Republics of Tatarstan and Udmurtia, Crimea, and over the waters of the Black and Azov Seas.
Our Russian Armed Forces also actively engaged the enemy throughout the night, although this may be due to various factors, ranging from preparations for a new large-scale attack to maintenance of strike platforms.
"...were hit:
In the Poltava region:
▫️the "Poltava" railway depot, the territory of which is used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the storage and repair of military equipment;
In the Odessa region:
▫️in the village of Vilkove, two temporary deployment points for operators of Bayraktar drones, a boat parking area, and a storage facility for Bayraktar drones, as well as port infrastructure, which ensures the storage and preparation for the use of Bayraktar drones.
In addition, a marine vessel of the "barge" type was hit while at sea, which was delivering cargo to the port of Odesa intended for the supply of the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
❓So, is it possible to move forward on the negotiation track? The preliminary public agreements are being touted by everyone except Zelensky (by the way, there have been no new attacks on our oil refineries so far).
🚩Western media reports that a new incentive for Moscow, according to The Economist, is the offer to resume sales of Russian gas to Europe and the operation of the Nord Stream pipeline. [The Americans have long been eyeing this: they want to own it and sell Russian gas to Europe, profiting from the transportation fees. It's a good scheme, especially considering the recent destruction of a US "HIMARS" and a gas metering station "Sudzha" during the retreat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in March of last year. ⚡️]
US proposals for resolving the conflict in Ukraine include the creation of a demilitarized zone in Donbass, easing sanctions against Russia, and an investment package for Kiev, according to a Western newspaper citing Ukrainian officials. However, Donbass remains the sticking point in the negotiations.
But further on, it is written about what is already partially manifesting itself, even without "insider" information: Russia will supposedly receive business agreements with the US, sanctions relief, and normalization of political relations. Ukraine is offered investments and membership in the European Union in exchange for abandoning its aspirations to join NATO.
❗️However, there is no substance to this. It's just a show, as Ukraine doesn't need to be in NATO to use NATO weapons against Russia, to exist on NATO money, or to test any type of weapon on the front lines. And the transformation of the EU from an economic union into a military one already clearly indicates that military threats to Russia are already being implemented through the EU, with EU weapons, under EU command, in the interests of the arms lobby in the EU. They are offering us a compromise so that no one loses face.
▪️Let's also look at the economic news regarding our resources and see who has their eye on them:
🇫🇷French company TotalEnergies plans to distribute gas from the "Yamal LNG" project outside the EU after 2027 as one of the participants in the Russian project, said Leonid Mikhelson, the head of Novatek, at the Eurasian Economic Forum.
Incidentally, in January, the European Council finally approved a phased ban on the import of Russian gas. Supplies of Russian LNG will be prohibited from January 1, 2027, and pipeline gas from September 30, 2027. But if this gas, extracted in Russia and loaded onto a tanker/pipeline, becomes American/French, then - please. It is no longer that "totalitarian" Russian gas, but democratic Western gas, and it can be supplied. However, we are losing money on the logistics of our own raw materials.
✨So, so far, the US approach hasn't really changed: they have organized military operations in Europe, severed its economic ties with Russia, want to take over the supply of resources from Russia to EU countries, have hindered the development of our country, and will continue to deter it with a constant military threat from the remnants of Ukraine or a militaristic Europe.
Meanwhile, the first tanker with Russian diesel fuel is heading to New York, Reuters reports, citing the LSEG ship tracking service: on October 22, the vessel was loaded at the Russian Baltic port of Primorsk. It is expected to arrive in the United States on November 7.
Against this backdrop, today's attack by Ukrainian missiles on Voronezh, near the airport and aircraft factory, is also noteworthy. It is very interesting who provided the intelligence and wrote the flight assignments to bypass our air defense.
